You have played,
(I think)
And broke the toys you were fondest of,
And are a little tired now;
Tired of things that break, and—
Just tired.
So am I.
Every week or so, I have a little girls night with Chermaine and Jennifer. To think that it gets old after 13 years, but nope, I always have a blast with them.
On another one of our restaurant hunting journeys, we tried PS Cafe. I’ve heard so much about this place, especially the Truffle Shoestring Fries. It was all the rave. I got it as a “peace maker offering” back then, and found it to be…. so so. I’ll rather stick to McDonald’s Fries thank you very much.

I love the atmosphere, but not when it comes to taking photos. It’s too dark and there’s no proper lighting except for a silly lamp that Jennifer has to hold up as a strobe light or something. And of course you wanted to avoid using the flash unless you want a whole bunch of people staring at you and going “tsk”.
But of course, when it comes to people like us, we don’t really give a fuck. Ha. Of course we handled all the flashing with consideration and with movements of a Ninja. A Ninja with amateur photography skills, that is.

St. Louis Ribs

Lulu’s “Leftover” Lasagne

Rustic Ribeye and Mushroom Stew

Truffle Shoestring Fries
Overall Ratings: 2/5
I had the Ribs, and honestly, I had better. Nothing beats Tony Romas for me.
Jennifer had the Lasagne which she didn’t really love, and Chermaine said the beef from the Rustic Ribeye was super tender. So.. you be the judge. But I don’t think I’ll be going back any time soon. Or ever.

But oh well, at least I got to whine about the food with good company. Ha.

When you try your best but you don’t succeed
When you get what you want but not what you need
When you feel so tired but you can’t sleep
Stuck in reverse
And the tears come streaming down your face
When you lose something you can’t replace
When you love someone but it goes to waste
Could it be worse?
Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you
And high up above or down below
When you’re too in love to let it go
But if you never try you’ll never know
Just what you’re worth
Tears stream down your face
I promise you I will learn from my mistakes
Tears stream down your face
And I
Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you
